Hello everybody!

So... I'm still floating in the air because of Sarah's concert last Friday. I decided to post my experiences on it:
My uncle and I arrived in Rio 50 minutes before the show. Thankfully we managed to get our tickets very quickly, and then he went to eat something before we entered the theater. I didn't eat anything, I was too nervous! haha!
There was a huge crowd at the front, but the lines were getting in pretty quickly. I believe it was almost sold out, there we very few empty spaces there.
We got a nice place. It was a bit far, but we took binoculars with us! LOL! Imagine *that* scene!

It was great though, we could see everything *perfectly*!
My camera didn't make the job to take quality pics, so I gave only a few attempts to it. I didn't want to loose time trying to take pictures and miss the show.
So, I didn't know much what to expect, since I was a good girl and didn't see any of the spoilers from the other shows. I didn't know which clothes she would wear, what songs she would sing, or how the stage would look like.
Some of you must know, that the concerts she made on South America are
*not* the same concerts she made on the "Symphony Would Tour". These were called "Sarah Brightman In Concert", and had a diferent stage and Set List.
It reminded me a lot of the One Night In Eden DVD. The stage was a bit small, but they made a great arrangement, there was an orchestra, and 2 islands of instruments, with an opening in the middle, so she could come and go.
I absolutely *adored* the set list. It had most of my top favorite Sarah songs!

SHOCK that she sang "He Doesn't See Me". Gunther made an amazing solo on this song, and it was a true
gem! I doubt she'll ever sing this song in concerts again, or with this arrangement. I don't think I breathed properly during a few songs... I was really speechless. That one specially. Instead of that Irish instrument (that I don't know how it's called in english), he played a thin flute... and it sounded literally *magical*!
When she started singing Wishing You Were Somehow here Again, it was like, everyone just got completely amazed... she sang it sooooo beautifully! Then, she left the stage, and I was like... "
awww... she didn't sing the Phantom one... oh, well."... there was a little interlude, that I couldn't recognize the song, and them that
HUGE Phantom overture came in... MAN! It was as if everyone had gotten up their seats, cheering so loud!! She came back, wearing that huge red feather dress... and those final notes? They were *perfect*!!
I was delighted that she sang "Dust in the Wind", "Scarborough Fair", "Hijo de La Luna", "Who Wants To Live Forever" and "A Question of Honour". I really thought those songs were "past performance" now! Haha!
Also, there were some AMAZING interludes... there was one with "SarahBande" which was spectacular! The violins gave me chills! And one of them, believe it or not, an instrumental of 'Scene D'Amour"!! I couldn't believe it, it was soooo cute! This is one of my favorite songs from Eden. Gunther was *amazing*! He did great solos during the interludes.
The dresses were soooo fabulous! She wore first the "Fleur Du mal" Dress, then a Green dress from the Symphony Tour, then a Huge Black sparkly dress, then a black see-thru dress( I hadn't seen before) and then a big bride-like dress on Nessum Dorma( I thought it wasn't that pretty). She came back with the coin dress from Harem, then a white feathered dress and finally a red feather dress. 8 dresses! Phew! Even though, some of the models were a bit odd, I thought she looked stunning!
I was more at ease after we got to our seats. I was like
'There, I'm here, nothing to worry about now." I had already talked to Márcia, the Admin of the Brazilian Forum, and I would meet her in the intervention.
When the show started, I think it finally hit me that: 1)yes, she was real. 2) yes, she was really *right* there. and 3) that this would probably be the only time I would get to see her live.
It all made me feel really emotional, and every time a new song started, and it was one of the unexpected ones, my heart would jump in my chest. It was really amazing! My uncle was beside me and we would go "Aw, no way! She's gonna sing that!" Nessum Dorma and La Luna almost brought me to tears. It was really unbelievable how her voice just filled the huge hall.
She greeted all of us in portuguese, which I thought was extremely cute and nice. Someone must have thought her how to, and she was sooooo cute! Spoke portuguese perfectly!
At the intervention, I met Márcia and she's such a wonderful person! I gave her the drawing I made for Sarah, and signed a little book that everyone from the SBB was signing with messages to give to Sarah too. She gave both to her on the Backstage experience. She promised to let me know what happened next. I met many other members, and we took a pic together. I am waiting for the boys to post it, cause I think it's the only pic I have of myself there! haha!! I was so out of my head, I didn't think of taking pictures, not even with Márcia, which I am hitting myself on the head because of that.
So, she turned to me and said she had a spare ticket, if I would like it. It was a seat very much ahead from where I was sitting with Anisio, like, in the 7th line! Of course I wanted! So, I ran back to Anisio, told him I grabbed a closer seat, and he was like "Go! Go! Go!"... haha!!
I saw the second Act really close, it was really awesome, cause the people around me were really funny! We like, clapped, and cheered for her soooooo much! When she sang 'A Question of Honour"... it was unbelievable! So much energy!
When it was over, I ran back to say goodbye to Márcia, and thank her once again for everything. She's really an amazing person, I wish I had had time to talk to her a bit more. I had to run back to meet Anisio and we just gave each other that huge bear hug thinking "wasn't that friggin awesome??"...
The show ended around 1:30 AM, and I arrived home at 3:20 AM... phew! I simply fainted when I laid down. Best night of sleep ever! haha!!
I'm really glad that I didn't miss the chance, and I'll keep hoping she will come back again someday.
Here are some pics I took with my camera:
