My own humble tribute to this marvelous artist, who left us way too soon.
Gotta tell a little story about this past week. I was in vacations and was packing my suitcases to come back home. The TV was turned on, on one of those all time news channels and I was barely listening to it... then the host came out and said: "Michael Jackson is dead". That rang so loud and clear, I froze. I don't think an artist death ever shocked and saddened me the way his did. I spend all my childhood listening to his songs, my cousin and I had movies, videos, LPs and Cds... felt like he was to us something other than a human, that would never go away. Very sad. He was truly a music genious and I don't think we will ever have someone who will impact the world as he did. Surely a mind ahead of his time. Aside from being such a man, he was also a son, a brother, a father... who will be even more missed. Rest in Peace, Michael.  Light texture: [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
